Whereas in the case of Natural diamond, you will at least get the same amount you bought it for if not an appreciated value. Most likely, you will get an appreciated value.

Lab-grown diamond prices are in constant fall and there are no signs of recovery. It is very much possible that a lab-grown diamond bought today will be worthless in front of a natural diamond of the same color and grade. As historically, natural diamonds are on a continuous rise.
